Vegetation Maintenance

South Australia’s roadsides, reserves, and conservation sites don’t maintain themselves. We are looking for a focused, hands-on vegetation specialist to join our Walkley Heights team. This isn’t just a job; it’s a mission to protect our native environment and keep our highway networks safe, clear, and functional.

The Role

• Mixing and applying herbicide
• Maintaining accurate spray records and equipment logs
• Conducting routine equipment checks
• Operating ride on mower
• Utilising a whipper snipper
• Cleaning of sites before maintenance is carried out

• Current manual drivers licence (HR or MR licence not essential however advantage)
• Experience in herbicide application, vegetation control or land management
• Sound understanding of safe chemical handling and enviormental protection procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Physically fit with a can do attitude
• Current ChemCert or ACUP certification or willingness to obtain one
